Forget New Year resolutions. For me, September has always been a time for renewal and change. I guess I never got over the excitement of starting a new school year and the idea that every fall I could press restart and reinvent myself.
Once September rolls around I feel extra inspired. It's my birthday month, my wedding anniversary and the time of year that I usually make major life changes. This year, though, it's more about shifting focus on painting. Since moving to SoCal last summer my work has become more experimental, more expressive and way more abstract and I plan to continue in that direction.
The changes have paid off and I now have gallery representation in Palm Desert at D Gallery located on El Paseo. Later in the year I will be featured in Art Patron Magazine. Also, I have been accepted into the 2018 Artist Council Exhibit at the Palm Springs Art Museum. If you would like to check out the gallery or visit the Artist Council show please see the info below. Cheers to Fall!
