Modernism Week
Every year since I’ve moved to SoCal my dear friend, Rob, and I have hit the streets of Palm Springs in February eager to soak up the best of mid century modern culture. Modernism Week 2020 is February 13 - 23 and we plan to do several house tours, enjoy wine (at Counter Reformation of course), take a bike tour, and attend as many art shows as possible.
This year I am so excited to be in a group show at Anne Bedrick Fine Art in Cathedral City. The show will hang from February 4 - 29 and the reception is on Saturday, February 15 from 5 - 8 pm. I hope to see you there!
Open Studios CVAC
The artists of the Coachella Valley Art Center open their doors for the first event of the season. There will be glass blowing and jewelry making demos, so come on by Sunday Dec. 15 from 11 - 4.

On a Roll at Stanford
When a company called Artsider contacted me about a potential project at Stanford University I replied that I was definitely interested…of course. I provided the company with a group of images that might work and then I quickly put it out of my mind.
Fast forward almost a year later and it turns out the people at Stanford love my work and they ended up purchasing a total of 16 prints, one of which was a mural. How cool!

New Location; New Perspective
San Francisco, I love you, man but It was time for a change. After much deliberation about where to go, I've landed in the Palm Springs area. Whoa, talk about a whole new perspective. This is a huge change from the Bay Area and I can't wait to dig in.
To my peeps up north, I haven't completely abandoned the city that gave me so much inspiration. I'll be back to visit and in the meantime I'm still available for commissions. Visit me anytime and remember Cheers to new adventures!

Do you want to see where the magic happens? Schedule a studio visit. I love visitors and Henri, the wonder dog, will make you feel welcome in exchange for tummy rubs.
There is no substitute for seeing art in person so I encourage you to come by, ask questions or just hang out. Mark Drive Studios is located in San Rafael off of Smith Ranch Road. There are more than 18 artists here so feel free to wander around and maybe see some artists at work.

Road Trip Review
I've been on the road since the beginning of August and it's great to be back in the Bay area. I covered so much territory, met amazing people, ate delicious food and saw some truly special places. I'm still decompressing and trying process everything so stay tuned for new work and blog posts.
